Millbrook Estate

The small boutique winery was built in 1999 from sandstock brick in colonial style architecture. Later on the winery was complimented with a small distillery (pot still & column still) and in 2003 an underground cellar was built to house our sparkling wines (methode champenoise). Our 6 1/2 acre hillside vineyard produces low yeilding high quality grapes. All pruning, harvesting and winemaking is done by hand. Partial organic viticulture is practiced and all waste waters are recycled. We produce between 500 and 1000 cases of wine per year. Contact proprietors Elsie & John Lyons.

Bistro Molines

The only Hunter Valley restaurant with the coveted SMH 1 hat rating. "Molines is back in his element using local produce and celebrating the seasons in a regional French menu that is surprisingly pricey while still delivering bang for the buck. On the upside, the wine list is remarkably reasonable and understandably parochial."

Savannah Estate lies on the beautiful gateway to Mount View, which boasts some of the most stunning views of the whole Hunter Valley. Take the time to come and visit us at Savannah Estate, Rita Hourigan or Amanda will gladly guide you through a tasting of our wide range of luscious wines. Savannah, is the granddaughter of the renowned Petersons Family and we hope that she will continue into this passion that has become part of our heritage.
